The ASInuse query determines when an AS-number last appeared in the global routing tables collected by RIS remote route collectors at different locations around the world.
The Routing Information Service (RIS) collects default free routing information using BGP from backbone routers on the Internet. This application will query the RIS database for a given AS number when it last appeared and retrieve all the neighbors which are seen to peer with this AS number. In the output table, clicking on an AS-number in the peer column will repeat the ASInuse query for that AS. Clicking on a AS-number in the AS Path column will show the dashboard for that AS.
